2026 and it's still not 2 clicks to share a disk over a LAN.
Yesterday was a bad day. My 3yo GPU (3060) decided to die, I got locked out after a tiring walk, and lost said walk's session data as a cherry on top. Because the other two weren't enough of an f u.
Apart from no ability to delete activities through code (apparently they have csrf codes in each html document and delete requires that csrf to go through), updated all activities I could in Feb, but I have 39500 steps. 60500 in 4 days is still not doable.
Happy Birthday Jake!!!! I hope you're having the loveliest day with your loved ones!
Will have to go through every other activity in February and fix it, but it should be easy to do. Strava's API isn't as sane as I'd like, but there are workarounds.
Fortunately, Garmin, the creator of the .fit format, has a free SDK with encode/decode examples so it's not difficult to automate. There's also online fit viewers and other accessible tools. But the SDK is just easier to work with. Added TotalStrydes....now the counter is moving!
Both got uploaded, inspected both .fit files and it seems Strava stores TotalCycles. Weird because that's supposed to be for Cycling, while TotalStrides is for Walking/Running, but ultimately they are interchangeable in the .fit spec, so whatevs. TotalStrides are basically TotalSteps/2.
This also holds for Apple Health btw. That said, even though the cadence info was what the Strava community said, the challenge in my case, did not get updated. So I went for a walk today and did what other members have done, dual sessions (one from Mi Fitness and another from Strava).
Strava supports .fit files and it's what other integrations typically send over (like Mi Fitness's integration with Strava). But even though Mi Fitness tracks cadence, they don't send it over in the .fit they generate.
Just to give a bit of context, Strava doesn't accept "steps" metrics from other devices. They operate with MovingTime(min) * Cadence(steps/min) to give you the Steps counter they show in their UI. Unfortunately this holds for integrations with other devices too.
Finally managed to get Strava to count steps...all to try out the 100k month challenge. 1 activity fixed, several more to go.
Someone seems to have solved it. If I understand correctly, this update or past updates were faulty leading to a mismatch of expectations from this update, which DISM can't fix and so it fails constantly. Not sure I want to bother this much. Pausing for 3 weeks.

It had a Download&Install button. After it failed, looked through it once more, one suggestion was the antivirus being meddlesome. So I hit Retry.......and it starts downloading again. WHY?! It was just downloaded three minutes ago.
Woke up to a faulty state on my pc...said sth happened and it needed to the system and needs restart. Looking through EventViewer and trying to make sense of it through google, seems like it's because of failed attempts to install latest security update KB5077181.....I just attempted once more.
These last two years have been unforgiving...
Oh no...they cancelled each other out.

I keep having to check they are not somehow caught under the wheels or sth because I've had them stop the mechanism and also a couple times, it ripped the power cable from the socket.....work lost.
My worst issues now is the power cable and the LAN (not optional), which are on the floor and in the way.....
Wake me up when retractable cable management becomes available....you pull a cable and it comes loose, you loosen it up and it retracts. My desk is also mobile so I opted for www.amazon.com/EUREKA-ERGON...
and it's been very good so far, but you have to first firmly secure the tower and then mount.
Peeps using @godotengine.org - what plugin are you using to get tokens from Firebase on Android, so you can send that to an external DB system so it knows where to send push notifications? I've found this github.com/GodotNuts/Go... but it won't let you get a local token for push notifications. GD4.5

I seriously object to the hairdo. It's not the cult-status lame helmet cut we all grew up with and loved. It's not He-Man without that, including the roided up beefcake part.
Yeah I imagine so.
"At the very beginning Aseprite was known as Allegro Sprite Editor, abbreviated with ASE". I just remember it as A Sprite with an extra silent -e xD.
Pray you never get IBS or sth, or you'll have to carry stakes or bibles (since you're praying and all).
