The photo is of my newly-started knitted shawl project. I've only knit the first 10 rows so far. The yarn is black and has been wound into a yarn cake. A photo of the shawl pattern that I'm knitting from is in the background. It is a shawl inspired by the shape of Raven's wings.

Pattern purchased when it was first published in 2007, yarn is Laci from Blue Moon Fiber Arts (no longer in business) about the same time.

I've tried knitting Irtfa'a a couple times, but I'm really determined to finish it this time.
