Amberspire will have a physical manual!
It is most useful a reference document for all the buildings, and of course seeing all the lovely art printed on a page.

A screenshot of our upcoming game Amberspire, showing the top right corner of a city. Six resource dice have been rolled but not yet used. The city is doing well, with a small number of terrain tiles around the outside, but they and the buildings are not currently in each other's way.

If you're a fan of...
๐ City building
๐งฎ Strategy
๐ฒ Dice
๐ชฆ The ruins of an enormous mausoleum that forms strange, bottomless chasms on a long-abandoned moon (don't worry about it)
You'll probably quite like Amberspire!
Out May 6th, wishlist now.
Can't wait to get my hands on this and to talk to Nic all about it at the FรS Games Summit this April! Woohoo!
See all those buildings? @nictringali.bsky.social and I have written hundreds of ways they can collapse into the mausoleum beneath, leaving geographical reminders of your cityโs history as well as impacting the political machinations of factions ๐
Which can be experienced on MAY 6โจ

A screenshot from our upcoming game Amberspire. The lower edge of the city, where fog and rust have begun to intrude upon a sizeable residential area. A Fogbreaker is under construction nearby, so that it can help manage the overgrowth.
A screenshot from our upcoming game Amberspire. One of the factions, Dais, has arrived in the city. To the right is a portrait of one of their members. To the left, a description: The city has drawn the attention of a new off-world faction... Dais Dais are a nomadic religious order in a fervent quest to maintain the corporeality of their god. Small cadres travel the galazy in search of artifacts, converts, and political assistance to maintain the inertia of their faith. It is rumoured that the Dais knights have supernatural abilities, but these are so rarely seen they cannot be resolved. The Dais favor adds two dice storage spaces, and the penalty removes two dice storage spaces.
Build a city on the ruins of an outer space mausoleum, manage resources to construct and maintain buildings, and preserve balance with the local ecosystem.
Oh, and try not to get on the wrong side of the strange factions keeping tabs on you.
Amberspire is out on May 6th!

Very cool to see my soundtrack come together with everyone else's work in these recent teasers.
This game has The Vibes in abundance and Nic's thoughtful design is going to be of interest to many of you games people so please give it a look!
In spite of my exhaustive (and growing) backlog of games, I will be dropping everything to play this the day it comes out

Thank you to the recent folks leaving positive reviews for The Banished Vault, it is very helpful. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't aggravated by the top two 'helpful' reviews being mixed in text and negatives in the algorithm. If you've played the game, leaving a positive review helps us a lot!
Things are quiet but soon (oh no) I will be back on the grind shouting about Amberspire.

@mode7games.bsky.social and DREAMTRAK absolutely killed on the music for The Banished Vault. go pick it up here nervoustestpilot.bandcamp.com/album/the-ba...
The Banished Vault is amazing and you should absolutely check it out.
It nails its atmosphere so perfectly. Going to replay it today, because who among us is not occasionally in the mood for desperate space monks running from death
A black and white banner with a horizontal line of six icons, each representing one of Bithell Games' self-published games in chronological order. From left to right: Thomas Was Alone - A rectangle with a small inverted triangle above it to show it is the selected character. Volume - The Volume mask, made up of several polygon fragments. Subsurface Circular - Two triangles rotated to interlock. The top is white-filled and 'points' to the right. The bottom is hollow with a white outline and 'points' left. Quarantine Circular - A silhouette of Gabriel's head, the alien who features in the game, within a circle that has four small, equidistant gaps in it and represents the helipad within which Gabriel is held. The Solitaire Conspiracy - Three cards stacked on top of one another, the top card white-filled with the symbol for Mantis Group, one of the crews in the game, in the centre. The two cards behind it are white-outlined and black-filled. The Banished Vault - A silhouette of one of The Banished Vault's smaller ships with a central porthole. Just behind it to the upper left, but slightly overlapped by the ship, is a planet outlined with white. Below the line of icons is the Bithell logo.
Our Legacy Games Celebration has come to an end!
Over the last six weeks, we've revisited our self-published game and the work that went into them. The new projects we're working on are only possible thanks to the support those past titles received. Thank you for playing. ๐งก
A screenshot from Lunar Division and Bithell Games' 'The Banished Vault' showing part of a 2D, tabletop-game-style map of a solar system. Three planets/moons are visible in this part of the map, with annotated lines showing the route a ship can take to reach them. There is a black-and-gold spaceship in the centre of the image, which is the only 3D model we can see here. On the left is the information for this ship: It is called Sword Sixy One, and has one navigator and one traveller. It has 7 fuel, 9 iron, and 4 titanium in its cargo hold. The engine, fuel consumption, energy, and thrust calculations are also listed as part of the ship's information panel.
A screenshot from Lunar Division and Bithell Games' 'The Banished Vault'. Several stylised buildings are placed down on a grid, some with a wooden texture and others with a transparent, glass-like texture. These are completed and in-progress buildings, respectively, on the surface of a planet.
A screenshot from Lunar Division and Bithell Games' 'The Banished Vault', showing the screen the player sees when leaving a solar system and putting their Exiles into hibernation. Four Exiles are hibernating this time, shown by their portrait cards on the left. On the right are upgrades that the player can unlock before progressing to the next system, split into Abilities and Blueprints.
A screenshot from Lunar Division and Bithell Games' 'The Banished Vault' showing part of a 2D, tabletop-game-style map of a solar system. A large, red, ringed planet is in the centre, with a smaller green-yellow further up. Annotated lines show the routes a ship can take between planets and moons on the map. The Energy Calculator tool is open, which players can use to work out how much fuel they need for a journey. There are four categories, each corresponding to a set of numbers: Engine Efficiency, Ship Mass, Fuel, and Energy. When the player increases or decreases one section, the rest also increase or decrease accordingly.
The Auriga Vault Exiles made it home to write the chronicles of their journey, thanks to you. We hope.
The Banished Vault was the first game from our Lunar Division label. Our next title, Amberspire, is in the works, but there's time for a bit more space monks appreciation first.
The Banished Vault has had two free content updates since launch:
In 'Salvage', scavenge through the ruins of abandoned ships to find resources that could aid your journey across space โ๏ธ
In 'Androids', add cybernetic travelers to your crew as pilots, navigators, and passengers ๐ค
