I didn't make one of these posts last year. But 2025 has been pretty great, despite uncertainties. I visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Toronto, & Chicago with friends, played 3 different LARPs, got some great book news I can't talk about yet, and am hard at work on the next things. Here's to a good one, 2026. 🖤

life lately 🌊 summer always slips by so quickly! i did detroit bookfest, visited chicago and my former college campus (northwestern! 💜), and saw the harold washington library for the first time. guess who i saw on the shelf!

On Organizing time to level up / an early draft of a playbook

The only thing that will stop Trump is a grassroots movement using diverse tactics.

(not just protests! We need boycotts, strikes, slowdowns, guerrilla art, disruptions, gumming the works from the inside, etc) from a cross-section of society.
