Two hounds!!! I’m guessing that’s why they put the electric fence in so they can wander over their property, which must be at least 2 acres, it’s bigger than ours.
That’s really our only option at this point. I hate that we have to make the change because of people who can’t/wont train their dogs!
All properties around here are at least an acre so it’s not a lack of room.
Also 3 terrified of dogs.
Next time I see the dogs in our yard I’m going to call the town and report them as strays. Fuck the neighbors.
So H walked into this man’s garage and told him that his dogs were coming into our yard. The man replied “oh usually the dogs get out over that way” (opposite way of our house).
MY GUY. you know your dogs are getting past your electric fence, in multiple directions. The fuck?
Our back neighbors have two hounds who apparently “get through” the electric fence on average of twice per week to walk through our yard and into the garden
H saw the neighbor outside and walked over to tell him to keep an eye on the dogs and the neighbor saw him coming and DUCKED into his garage

Honestly that’s brilliant. 3 took his usual 2 hour nap from 1:30-3:30 and went to bed at about 7:30 and 5 went to bed at 7:45.
Thankfully school and daycare are both open so I think the routine will be helpful for them
3 just went to bed and 5 is still up. I fucked up.

Anybody else doing the finch spring cleaning challenge? I was dreading the cleaning out the fridge/pantry but was pleasantly surprised that it was actually pretty quick!!
