I also want to specifically call out the work of @lottemakesstuff.pink on our layering tech here. It's hard (for me, an ignoramus) to describe how complex the layering is in this game but sprites over 3D backgrounds with effects is no simple thing.

Without a doubt this is still the most popular game we have set up internally at our office. When we took this machine to an event earlier in the year people asked me if they could back this game on kickstarter and I had to tell them it was almost 15 years old.
