to be clear, novick can be replaced by someone who is cooler than novick and I can vibe with that.
The implication here is that someone on council in D3 has neglected transportation as a topic and needs to be replaced. Which I dont think is true. There are charitable and uncharitable interpretations.

I believe that some business owners see poop on the ground. It’s their responsibility to show their work why cleaning up that poop is a higher priority than say building sidewalks
Portland Solutions/PEMO is founded on the assumption that perceived uncleanliness/lack of voice by business owners is “more real” than the material defunding of broad public services
I live very close to tiller terrace and this project. These are some of the best blocks in the city for car-free living… if you *need* access to parking, the building needs to sort you out from those who just *want* it.
If the “save the Lloyd” people have taught us anything, it’s that people yearn for cute unconventional businesses which are not possible under 2019 rents. I say let’s demolish Lloyd center and give them what they love in a building that isn’t majority parking.
