Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
New daubing. Itβs quite large. Itβs called The Breachburnβ no idea why. Bless you for stopping by, again!
Too many comments to see if covered already but if Home Alone is a Christmas film so is Die Hard. They are, in effect - the same film!
Ah - a classic. I remember my mum taking me to watch this, late 70s - the local library which doubled up as cinema on occasions. The Mahars scared the bejeebers out of me, even though you can see the wire they fly down on π

'The old church tower and garden wall
Are black with autumn rain,
And dreary winds foreboding call
The darkness down again.'

βThrow a farthing at my feet and Mr Mahler might speak.β
How do. I'm Dan and in my spare time I draw stuff. I've got a shop on Redbubble and I take commissions too. I'd be very grateful if you gave my art account a follow at
@dpadesign2020.bsky.social and had a look at my stuff. Cheers
That time last week when Christmas dressing, manifesting a tribute to the Mesopotamian fire demon βPazuzuβ - put me right off my pint.
Well, this is rather lovely. Belated congratulations to you.
Thank-you.
Ha ha. Cats - eh?
While weβre at it and I feel a bit chatty, does anyone else have a cat who refuses to acknowledge resting area perimeters π?
Itβs really very lovely. Sounds like a love-letter to the sense of loss of self, in places.
Not sure what this is, if itβs finished or even the right way up but it is a thing, nonetheless. Bless you for stopping by.
Likewise. Thank you too.

My commuter vibe for todayβ¦
Yay - my first follower on here. Thank you @retrojames.bsky.social π
Finished this up. I think Iβll call it βOn a bright and breezy moorβ¦β
New bit of daubing from me. Itβs called βFollow me down.β
Thanks. The welcome is appreciated.
Well, Iβve binned Twitter. Looking forward to joining other writers and artists for some intelligent, grown-up conversations about their work.
