There are about 300 people in the UK who think this war is a good idea, and they are all either columnists or MPs.
Itโs time to talk about Bill Gates and Jeffrey Epstein, and how much harder questions need to be asked about his foundation. Great to get @timschwab.bsky.socialโs insights!
In a couple weeks, weโll also be talking about Epsteinโs relationship with Elon Musk.
Also important to note that the Home Office's *own figures* imply that care workers/dependents are a fiscal *benefit* in terms of the government's fiscal rules (and on every year for next 30 years).
It is Mahmood who has a fiscal "black hole" to fill.
Well would you look at that
From Goveyโs folio. One I made on the announcement that he was to become editor of The Soectator
If youโve pissed him off you must be doing something right!
One I made earlier

Exactly this!
Outline of a pair of menโs y-fronts embroidered in white on pink felt. Underneath the words โItโs all pants!โ are embroidered.
Itโs all pants!
*mood
(Thatโs pants as in knickers not trousers, obvs!)

Thanks Lea! Her eyebrows are quite something, arenโt they!
Jeez!I wonder how they think doing that is going to aid โregime changeโ?!
Thanks!
I meant to show you my Fanny. Here she is!

โค It recorded that children, women, and the elderly make up 47.2% of those killed during the โceasefire.โ โค It documents 1,856 Israeli field violations, averaging 13.5 violations per day, including live fire, drone strikes, artillery shelling, demolitions, and naval gunfire. โค The most severe violations, according to the report, concern aid. The ceasefire requires 600 trucks per day, including 50 fuel trucks. The document states that only 43.2% (260 of 600 agreed trucks) have entered overall, and just 15.1% of required fuel. โค It accuses Israel of providing โmisleading figuresโ to mediators and refusing independent monitoring, calling the fuel restrictions a deliberate obstruction of recovery and basic services. โค Only 1,753 of 4,200 scheduled travelers were allowed to pass through Rafah in both directions โ a compliance rate of just 41.7%. The report concludes that the violations form a โcontinuous and systematic patternโ that has stripped the ceasefire of practical substance.

Well!
Love these! x
No, me neither! Itโs part of her Christmas series which is still available on iplayer, I think. It looks disgusting!
So, any other news yesterday?
Anything important?
This is why Dyson backed Brexit. Because he hoped it would mean workers rights and human rights being decimated so he could use workers as a commodity. Dyson has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by 24 migrant workers, who alleged were subjected to forced & abusive treatment in a Malaysian factory
Iโve got one of those too! I donโt really get on with it. Too bright!!
Yes def re the irony!
I will have to look those up.
Fanny does a green omelette & then thereโs her famous mincemeat one! ๐คข
Fanny certainly is. Some of stuff though is brilliant!
Not sure where it leaves our mental health, though!
I wouldnโt bother with the link. So predictable. Robinson yesterdayโs man.
Itโs all so boringly predictable . Turned on radio at 6.45. There wasnโt a mention of the by-election until the news at 7 so knew that Reform hadnโt won otherwise they would have been gloating all over! Robinson is a yesterday man.
Me too! Hate grey days! U.K. winter are awful. It was so much colder in winter where we lived in New Zealand (could get down to -15) but by day you could be down to a T-shirt. Clear blue skies. Of course had to be careful with the strength of the sun! I guess U.K. winters are good for the skin!
Nothing that exciting but the juxtaposition of the fabrics was far more interesting, as often backs are!
I have no idea as it was behind glass and so only those pages were visible. That said the birthing chair seems eminently more practical than lying on a bed! I havenโt read the Julia Child book. Have you? I am however currently going through a few of Fanny Cradockโs offerings which are fascinating!!
A fascinating exhibition!
