➤ It recorded that children, women, and the elderly make up 47.2% of those killed during the “ceasefire.” ➤ It documents 1,856 Israeli field violations, averaging 13.5 violations per day, including live fire, drone strikes, artillery shelling, demolitions, and naval gunfire. ➤ The most severe violations, according to the report, concern aid. The ceasefire requires 600 trucks per day, including 50 fuel trucks. The document states that only 43.2% (260 of 600 agreed trucks) have entered overall, and just 15.1% of required fuel. ➤ It accuses Israel of providing “misleading figures” to mediators and refusing independent monitoring, calling the fuel restrictions a deliberate obstruction of recovery and basic services. ➤ Only 1,753 of 4,200 scheduled travelers were allowed to pass through Rafah in both directions — a compliance rate of just 41.7%. The report concludes that the violations form a “continuous and systematic pattern” that has stripped the ceasefire of practical substance.

Dyson settles forced labour suit in landmark UK case Migrant workers alleged they were subjected to abusive treatment in a Malaysian factory for Dyson.

This is why Dyson backed Brexit. Because he hoped it would mean workers rights and human rights being decimated so he could use workers as a commodity. Dyson has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by 24 migrant workers, who alleged were subjected to forced & abusive treatment in a Malaysian factory

It’s all so boringly predictable . Turned on radio at 6.45. There wasn’t a mention of the by-election until the news at 7 so knew that Reform hadn’t won otherwise they would have been gloating all over! Robinson is a yesterday man.

Me too! Hate grey days! U.K. winter are awful. It was so much colder in winter where we lived in New Zealand (could get down to -15) but by day you could be down to a T-shirt. Clear blue skies. Of course had to be careful with the strength of the sun! I guess U.K. winters are good for the skin!

Nothing that exciting but the juxtaposition of the fabrics was far more interesting, as often backs are!

I have no idea as it was behind glass and so only those pages were visible. That said the birthing chair seems eminently more practical than lying on a bed! I haven’t read the Julia Child book. Have you? I am however currently going through a few of Fanny Cradock’s offerings which are fascinating!!
