Sorry Dave, I missed this! If you want another good route, up Byres Road to the Botantics is good, there is a cycle path that takes you up to the Glasgow Garscube campus there.

More oyster work! Looking at surface water moments and doing some measuring with folks from Duke Marine Lab's AquaFarm, at their CMAST site. @sbohvm.gla.ac.uk really great to discuss the range of measures to look at success versus mortality. Lots of potential for modelling work too!

It's an interesting thought, and I think there may well be something there.

However, I'm certain that by far the biggest factor is collective ecological amnesia, due to shifting baseline syndrome.
