If it was an AI it was most definitively a person who simply does not care.

...grammatical anarchy as a form of camouflage.
So the fact that we bombed a girls elementary school, while likely using AI for targeting, is going to be a major headline story dominating American news coverage when exactly?
βNo front-page stories in NYT, WSJ, WaPo. No mention on NBC and CBS Sunday Shows. No stand alone segments on Evening News shows. A death count on par with the OKC bombing is relegated to the back page.β www.columnblog.com/p/corporate-...
it would also be in the long run sadly accurate.
Got it. Assuming your department has some sort of review process (e.g. for reappointment), talking with your head and mentor/s about how to prioritize your projects may still be helpful. (I realize this may be too vague or obvious to be useful. And, full disclosure: I struggle with this a lot.)
My 2 cents: having a conversation with your department head about criteria/process for promotion at your department may help to prioritize some projects over others. Talking to mentor (and/or trusted colleagues), may also help!
Cosas raras que me ha tocado ver estos dΓas y el trumpismo Latino haciendo contorsiones para odiar a Bad Bunny.

ICE abducted a father of a six-year-old who is undergoing cancer treatment in a suburb outside Pittsburgh on Sunday and took him to a detention center in West Virginia.
The cruelty is boundless.

The best case scenario is that Trump will waste $38 billion. The more likely outcome is that these will become warehouses of human suffering, and a permanent stain on America's history.
Seeing Prof. Principe's keynote at HSS years ago 2017?) inspired me to study software and its history in a different way.

I learn, reading U. Le Guin, that H. G. Wells called his early works (early examples of what later would be known as science fiction) as "scientific romances" or "fantasies of possibility."

I think they are -- and 100% agree they feel out of place there.
Gabions are quite useful in civil/road engineering as low cost containment walls. In that context they can be quite beautiful. Here, they don't. (They are not doing what they are supposed to do.) Perhaps a more inspired/refined Gabion recontextualization is Herzog & DeMeuron's Dominus Winery.
Or Latin America.
The fight against fascism is also a fight for a shared sense of reality. We see demagogues twisting the facts and blatantly lying, while legacy media are keen to present every story as a matter of conflicting interpretations. With social media drowning in #AIslop, this is only going to get worse

Human brains feed off of negativity. Negative thoughts are easily digested and play in a loop in your mind all of the time. The reality, however, is that there is also A LOT OF GOOD happening every single minute. You have to do more work to pay attention to the good but it's worth it.
Sancocho had a cameo in Mamdani's speech. Right on!
