Today is one of my favorite days of the year. The Twin Cities Marathon opened my eyes to just how beautiful this place is, and years later, I’m lucky to still call it home.

To every runner, volunteer, race coordinator, and supporter out there today: good luck and have fun!

Many members of our East African community came to Minneapolis as immigrants or refugees, but now they are the entrepreneurs and neighborhood leaders who have helped fuel our city's comeback.

Organizing in our immigrant communities starts with showing up, and I had a blast at this rally tonight with our East African community.

I am honored to have earned former US Attorney Andy Luger's endorsement.

No one has been more committed to taking on violent crime and rooting out fraud and corruption from our social safety net. His pursuit of justice has made Minneapolis a safer city for all.

Those using this tragedy as an opportunity to vilianize the trans community, or any community, have lost sight of our shared humanity. Children died today. We shouldn't be operating out of a place of hate for anyone. We should be operating from a place of love for our kids.

All of our kids should be able to go to school or church without the fear of gun violence.

Don't just say we need thoughts and prayers. These kids were literally in a church praying.

Don't just think of them just as someone else's kids. Think of them as your own.

Over 50% of our contributors are small dollar donors — and with their support, we just broke the all-time fundraising record for a Minneapolis mayoral campaign.

The workers of @liunamnnd.bsky.social keep our city running — our streets and bridges would literally fall apart without them, and they are the backbone of core services like snow removal and trash pickup. I am honored to earn their support!

Senator Omar Fateh is a proud American who is running because, like me, he loves Minneapolis. I’m proud that Minneapolis is a place where he can run for mayor against me on his own merits — and that this kind of bigotry is widely rejected across our great city.

Love is love in Minneapolis!

Pride weekend in Minneapolis is pure magic. No city does a better job of proudly celebrating love and equality more than Minneapolis.

The Supreme Court just greenlit a right-wing push to defund Planned Parenthood. In Minneapolis, we've taken action to protect and expand access to abortion care so that we remain a safe haven for reproductive freedom.

Some snapshots from the NE parade last week. The energy in this city is real, and you can feel it in every neighborhood. Minneapolis is on the rise. Let's keep moving forward, together.

When Roe v. Wade was overturned 3 years ago today, Minneapolis didn't sit on the sidelines while women lost their freedoms — we took action to protect and expand access to abortion. We're a safe haven for abortion rights, and we're going to keep it that way.

The men and women of our Building Trades unions quite literally built this city. To keep our city affordable, we're going to need their help to build more housing. I'm looking forward to working with them to get that done, and I'm honored to have their support.
