I've been working on the second generation of my Art Project, but today I needed a break from Pokémon art, so I've made some Minecraft minis, inspired by the little blind bag figures I used to have a collection of!

I did the exact same thing! I got the preorder bonus Sitting Cutie Totodile and I liked it so much I never evolved my starter so they could match

Any ideas on the fastest method to get this? My plan so far has been using the 1 star restaurant and spamming A, you get just over 1 battle a minute doing this but that’s still hours of grinding

My Septembit 2024 Colours

I tried keeping my colours to a minimum, and ended up with 19, ignoring the two standard colours that's only 1 colour for every two Pokémon, so I think I did pretty well!

As a bonus, here's some alternate colour schemes!

Some of the prompts I did not follow very closely, I wanted to find a version of this challenge that would inspire me, and that meant colouring outside of the lines a bit, but I'm happy with what I made!

I added more colours than the challenge prompt allows, in order to fit the stylings of the Gen 1 Pokémon games, here's a version that fulfils the 1 bit brief

Barbaracle mention! They’re one of the last Kalos Pokémon that I haven’t used in my play through yet so I’ve been planning to have them and Slurpuff on my team since the games announcement, the player has had a Binacle in a couple trailers so I’m hoping I can get them early

To try and be ready for this year's Septembit, I rushed to finish last years!
Rather than monsters I used each prompt to make a game concept, and depicted a character from that game!

(While journeying through the Kanto region, Ash and pals ran into an unfamiliar Poké-face, here's a sneak peak of them!)

(2/3) while uploading the Yellow sprites here, but I haven't gotten many of those finished, I'm also thinking of changing quite of lot of these designs further, as I think I want them to stand as more original Pokémon designs, where a lot of them currently heavily resemble existing Pokémon

(1/3) As for the future of this project, I have started some gen 2 sprites, my idea being to create all these guys and the next 50 creatures in Gold and Silver, before having a chance to rework them for a Crystal series, but that will be a ways away, I was hoping to work on more of those sprites

After encouragement from my friends I decided to post these sprites online daily, and I'm thankful for the people who came by every day to like my silly designs! As a thank you, here's all my designs as shinies, using the spaceworld demo shiny colours!

This is the finale of my art project! I started this a couple years ago, with the goal to practice pixel art more, but after completing the first round of sprites I was interested in trying again with the Yellow sprites, commiting to no edits only originals, and made something I'm very proud of
