FYI The British don't have an empire anymore in case you think I'm unaware of that fact
Trump wants a say in who the next Iranian leader is. I think I should have a day in who should be the next president of the USA and I select King Charles. Now wait for the reactions of the American people who thought they'd escaped the British empire π
Reform are the most ungracious political losers I've come across in a while. In Britain anyway.
Bring in Van Helsing
I don't remember getting charged for using contactless payments till I came back to New Zealand. They don't charge them in the UK as far as I am aware. I think they were banned, by the Tories. I don't automatically use paywave anymore, but I was expecting them to ban the charge soon. Ridiculous
I don't blame you
I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm also not giving up all hope either. We'll see after election day.
I'll only say this once. I'm not interested in Mr Peters stupid culture wars #nzpol
There's nothing stopping me from getting a different cancer, but yeah I hope it's the last too. Thanks
It's alright. I would be surprised if it comes back, but they still say I'm in remission, not cured. It does make getting something like health insurance hard though, which is annoying, but hey, what can you do. I'm at least alive, which I didn't think I would still be at the time.
Cartoon depicts ACT MP and Minister of Internal Affairs Brooke Van Velden dressed as an ancient Egyptian queen/Pharaoh riding a giant gold block labelled βACTβs R.W. Agendaβ. She wields two whips to drive her slaves, dragging the block towards a pyramid peaked with gold labelled β1%β. Her slaves consist of National Party MPs, including PM Chris Luxon, Nicola Willis, Simeon Brown, and others. Luxon: βNo wonder Brooke wasnβt keen on an anti-slavery bill.β

Well there is that, but no. I shouldn't have mentioned it, as it's depressing, but I did go to the hospital a lot then.
Cancer
Just not sure if I want to go through 1995 again
It's a time machine going back to the mid 90s. 1994 I think. I wouldn't mind being 21 again
I don't know why he thinks he can get away with a lie about the Maori roll, but Mr Peters is full of it #nzpol
Typical of this govt. Policy based on reckons not evidence.
Thought you'd like it
Meanwhile in other parts of Brexit Britain
Another thing. The new British passport sucks. I preferred the burgundy one, not the Brexit one.
Though I must say this is very sudden and I think the authorities have handled this very badly. With very little notice they sprung it on us.
I'm unfortunately stuffed as I have applied and hold an expired British passport. But I have no intention of visiting the UK anytime in the near future. So given the expense, I don't think I'll bother till the next time I need to travel there.
If the automatic British citizen has never applied for a British passport, how do the British authorities know they are a dual citizen when they use the ETA? What's stopping a dual citizen who has never applied for a British passport from using the ETA system?

Trump has really stepped over the line here.
The USA didn't defeat the Germans on their own. I doubt they could have just like I doubt the British could do it on their own, and likewise the Russians. The Russians were the ones who took the brunt of the conflict and lost more than Brits or yanks. British brains, American steel, and Soviet blood
He sounds like Don Quixote, tilting at windmills. Just as delusional.

Pester your friends.
Don't be silly. Never underestimate hypocrisy.
Ah so election day in Aotearoa New Zealand is Nov 7. Forgive me if I'm underwhelmed by that. I just hope the, IMO, voter suppression law they passed, meaning you have to be registered 13 days before the election, don't work and the coalition of chaos govt gets voted out.

Of course. I recognised him immediately.
