I signed up for a triathlon at a reservoir in California managed by the Army Corp of Engineers, and got an email today from the race organizers that reservoir is closing to the public for the rest of the year due to funding cuts and lack of staffing, so the race is cancelled.

Saw Wicked today- it was great. Did notice the monkeys weren’t wearing those drab West Point uniforms like in the Wizard of Oz. Missed opportunity for the Corps of Cadets to add their special aura of gloom to the storyline.
