Easily top 2 in the past 2 years.
An incredible turn of events here. 10/10, no notes. ๐
When I get my dream of Toronto municipal parties, the requirement should be no provincial or federal affiliation. Municipal has its own ideologies. We need Projet Toronto not Toronto Liberal or Toronto NDP.
Bad Bunny halftime show easily the best since Kendrick Lamar.
(The number of politicians like Fillmore who touted pro-active transportation policies in 2020 now pushing car-brained congestion is kinda amazing. That's the dissertation I want to read.)

Obviously, it's not all terrible. Even with Bill 212 and Bill 60, the city's cycling network has kept moving forward on a post-2020 John Tory pace which would have seemed unimaginable pre-2019. But the delayed bike lane winter maintenance has been extremely disappointing.
I don't disagree.
I'm still thinking what's the solution though.
I'm not convinced it's that simple anymore. Our mayor and her most likely opponent famously both ride bikes, but neither are exactly preaching a Paris-style transformation or catching up with Montreal.
Fantastic how many (former and current) city staffers came out to the @thewaroncars.bsky.social show! (It's easy to be cynical, but Toronto is fortunate to have so many smart and dedicated true believers working behind the scenes.)
Did anyone happen to spot any elected officials though?
Everyone booed at Don Valley Station and chanted "Science Centre"
(Two years in a row for Toronto.)
When they drop it in pro bike races it's mind-blowing.
Yesterday
Another driver hit a daycare
Probably because the daycare :
โ Didn't wear a high-vis vest ๐ฆบ
โ Didn't wear a helmet ๐ช
โ Didn't look into the eyes of the driver ๐
โ Didn't wave at the driver ๐๐ป
Bollards will be installed to block other drivers

The Ford government has "never* had to sit across from a Liberal party leader in the legislature. Now the plan seems to be to give Teneycke and Kouvalis as much oppo research lead time as possible.
Interesting. I mean, I'm just guessing that's why, wouldn't pretend transit is my lane.

"bikespaining"
"average" !!
"...owns 4 bicycles at the same time..."
There are children not yet conceived who will be born before Ontario Liberal leadership race is over.
What a moment for @thewaroncars.bsky.social to be in the council chambers.
3 panels, starting with the Far Side Cow tools cartoon featuring a bipedal cow showing off a table with 4 crude misshapen objects on it. The following 2 panels, screenshots from I Think You Should Leave, feature a student in a desk asking, "what's her job?" The teacher, played by Tim Robinson, is visibly frustrated and replies by leaning forward and yelling, "COW TOOLS."
i can't know how to hear anymore about cow tools
More of 5 is underground so not as susceptible to signal priority and intersection slowing?
Nice.
Thinking about winter maintenance and how we got in this mess...
I suppose this is why I keep teaching civics
Every station (apparently) built as standalones with nothing above? Well done.
Keep asking.
