Bluepoint immediately got the hardware, understood how to deliver an impressive game on it *day one* and then were then cast into the live service mines. Sony is such a stupid fucking company, man. That's not saying much when it's competition is, well, you know...
I don't need things to look realistic, but I do wish more games of this generation looked as crisp as this. Even the load times are more impressive than a lot of what's releasing now, which is still fast compared to last gen, but has slid back to an appreciable degree.
That Demon's Souls remake might still be one of the sharpest looking games of this generation, still genuinely impressed by it, and it's utterly insane to me that Bluepoint went from this to a dead-end live service project to being canned. What an immense loss of talent.

Even if it does, I see no reason to upgrade over my Series X. It can already do that and it's not like MS is putting out anything new worth giving a damn about for the kind of money they'll surely be asking.
