If history recalls
That you did not #flinch
It makes a story grand
And will do in a pinch
But grander yet the story
Of the one who #flinched
And shivered, and doubted
And pressed on,
Pummeled but unbent.

Not to pile on, but every 'c' in 'Pacific Ocean' is pronounced differently.

How it's coming along:
i just saw someone who is very upset that they are βremakingβ pride and prejudice. this person only acknowledges the 1995 bbc production. honey theyβve been (re)making this story for hundreds of years. it is good to have a version for every generation. calm down.

The past few months have been tough, and we just want to say thank you. In the beginning, it felt like we were yelling into the wind, no one was listening. But then you all showed up. You raised your voices, shared the truth, and made the media pay attention.
I'm not saying journalists should never interview admitted propagandists. There are journalistic reasons to do so. But if we do, we must be prepared to -- in fact it is our duty to -- challenge vociferously all unsubstantiated claims. Otherwise, we ourselves become propagandists.

This righteous man is in his 80's and he still brings it. Bernie is one of the few politicians who can inspire people across all generations. His message has not changed for as long as I can remember. He fights against the inequality in our country and for the little guy. He is Vermont's gift to us.
