Good morning beautiful people
Today is a great day to follow your curiosity and make art.
It doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be authentic.
Who says indie folk can't become heavy techno?!?!

Hell yeah!
I play live a fair bit. But the live versions of my songs are very different - just vocals and a guitar.
I also usually finish with a cover of Frozen by Madonna.
You can hear all of this on my live album. It's name your price too.

Do yourself a favor and go buy Twelve Days In June's new album right now.
It's sounds so damn HUGE.

Don't worry about where you fit, or what the algorithms think. Do it because it's fun and you love it.
Good morning my lovelies!
Today is a great day to follow your curiosity and make art.
The world is a better place when there's more art in it.
Good morning beautiful people.
Today is a great day to follow your curiosity and make some art.
The world needs to hear what you have to say.
If any of you sexy people are in reach of London, there's a free gig happening on Friday.

ELEANOR GETS ZOPPED!
The @zipzapzopdub.bsky.social remix of me against the dark is out today.

It's also decimating organic search results.
The AI overviews take up so much space. Then you have so many sponsored results, which leaves almost no space for actual organic results.
You also get a 15 page PDF booklet with the lyrics and my original photography.
If you've seen my name around these parts then I urge you to check this out.
It's a damn good record.

Exit Strategies is my best work to date.
I am proud of every one of these 12 songs, but there's one or two that are pure once-in-a-lifetime, capturing lighting in a bottle sorta level.
Think I just finished my first ambient piece.
It's peaceful, but also tense and creepy. Like you're somewhere familiar, but you can feel something is watching you. You know something isn't right.
That's what it makes me feel.
Been messing around with samples and field recordings today.
It's loads of fun making all kinds of creepy weird noises.
I'm now considering starting an experimental ambient side project.
Playing my songs live as a solo performer is an interesting challenge.
So far I've relied on minimal guitar + vocal arrangements and lots of delay and reverb.
I'm thinking of adding in ambient samples, a la Grouper. Maybe with a Volca Sample or similar

I've released two albums, a live album and an ep since I started this thing in 2021 (all available on Bandcamp).
I'm currently writing my third album which is heading in a folk/slowcore direction. (join the mailing list if you wanna hear some demos).
Thank you for being here π«
Thought it was time I re-introduced myself.
I'm Nick. Eleanor Collides is my solo project. I write (mostly) sad songs on guitar, kinda goth meets shoegaze meets folk with an indie-rock hat on.
Two more demos for album three are done.
The one about regret in 5/4, and a super sad and melancholy one
Things are taking shape
Thank you! π

For me, AI generated cover art always looks lazy. It puts me off wanting to listen to your music.
I'm not part of the anti-AI brigade but, ethics aside, it just never looks that good.
I hate it when you sign up for a free webinar or workshop, hoping to learn something and it's basically a sales pitch with zero useful information.
I get that they're doing it to get my email and maybe sell me something, but you have to provide some actual value.
