A maturing Ponderosa Pine tree is pictured. Off in the distance there are a bunch of other trees similar in size. The sky above and beyond the trees is scattered with white and grey clouds. There is a small patch of blue sky poking through to the left of the Ponderosa. This tree is off of a path I regularly ride my bike on. I’ve been watching it grow for the past 3 or 4 years now.

You’re welcome, thank you too 😊 oh yeah, I don’t deal with the heat well much anymore myself. Lived in Vegas for a year after high school & couldn’t stand it. The older I get the more the heat messes with me. I can do Brazilian heat but not that dry ass Vegas heat.🥴 It’s brutal. Talk later 😊

The climate is perfect for me. It feels like you’re in Scotland or Ireland during the winter months. The geography is absolutely stunning. It’s very isolated from things though. The surfing’s pretty good in Newport but you’ve gotta wear a wetsuit. Used to watch the whales in Boiler Bay 2 miles away😊

My daughter was only 8 at the time and she needed me to be closer. It’s a beautiful place and I love the climate there. It’s the edge of the universe though, for sure. Especially during the winter months.

It is! I lived in Depoe Bay / Lincoln Beach. It was about 2.5 miles to Depoe Bay & 6 mille from Lincoln City. I loved it! Moved up there after my daughter’s mom & I split. I was about 2 blocks from the beach & could hear the waves crashing all night long. You’d love that place, Riddley. Beautiful🥰

I lived up on the Oregon Coast & while it’s not the same, I could get used to the weather. Unsure about the daylight thing though. Hell, in another 10 years Norway will probably be tropical, way things are going environmentally. One of the ladies on my pic app rides her bike year round there.🤷🏻‍♂️🙂
