it’s never felt more stark to me, the way direct action, community defense, and a whole host of forms of refusal are being blunted by those see (and/or who want others to see) such actions as “disagreement with a policy” or “seeking policy change”

Hey Im really bad at self-promoting but The Extended Universe is out in a month and a half and if you havent pre-ordered it yet and want to support my work this is a really good way to do it!
This is bad news for everyone in the South, and really bad news for low-income trans folks. The surgeons getting pushed out of university hospitals will move to private practice and while SOME people will still get trans surgeries covered by insurance, those on Medicaid won’t.
This is my neighborhood. It is full of roofers and puppet-makers and people who usually go to work at 5 in the morning. We have been so hard hit, and everyone I know has pitched in to help each other. But there’s no reserves, no money left to pass around.
Please help.
Please donate to keep Phillips neighbors housed! It looks like we've raised a lot - and we have! But most of that was spent covering February rent for over 320 families, and now, those same families and others need rent again for March.

The heightened need in North Minneapolis reflects the intersection of the violence of ICE’s occupation of the city and a long history of organized abandonment: redlining, disinvestment, over-policing, and uneven infrastructure shaped by racist city policy. If you can help it would mean a lot 🖤
It’s March 1st—rent is due and Olson Middle School in North Minneapolis is $25k short of their goal. All funds raised will be used to directly support students and keep their families safe, together, and housed. Please chip in or share if you can 🖤
we’re more in need of post partum feeding and care supplies, but if you can sew there’s a great mutual aid project looking for folks to make and mail laundry bags 👇 bsky.app/profile/real...
Thank you!!
If you are pissed off and looking to help, see the wishlist below.
I donated breast pumps, baby bottles and blankets.
I will be donating. Will others join me?
Thank you!!
Still feeling supremely helpless, so I sent a few things their way.
A number of their "highest priority" (you can sort by that) items are $10 or under. Everything helps.
Thank you!
👇 donated.
Thank you!
This hit a nerve for me because new mums and babies are so vulnerable even in ideal situations.
Have bought a load of equipment from this list. Unfortunately some of the stuff marked highest need was also marked as unavailable.
Thank you!
Help out with baby/mother items in Minnesota if you are able ❤️.
Thank you!!
I see a list of items for babies I have to buy the items for babies
I like things like this because you can choose one item, something you know they’ll always need, and order as subscription (with deliveries sent out each every howevermany weeks you select) to help keep that particular item replenished.
Post from @thepeopleslaundrympls on instagram with a request for laundry bags, pattern/instructions and an address for where to send finished bags or fabric to donate
that’s so sweet but we’re pretty good on clothes. if you can sew the people’s laundry is in dire need of laundry bags. It’s a cool long running mutual aid project & has been vital though occupation, there are instructions for how to make/where to send in their post www.instagram.com/p/DVKzjyNjVz...
