I hope you enjoy it!
Physics isn’t subjective. Your personal opinion of someone, whether you dislike or admire them, should have zero influence on how you evaluate their research.
New episode with @evevavagiakis.bsky.social is out now on the Knowmads Podcast @bhavaytyagi.bsky.social

What amazes me is that the most famous realist interpretation of quantum mechanics, Many Worlds, came from Everett, whose only published contribution was his PhD thesis.
A PhD in physics goes beyond completing assigned tasks. It means questioning the foundations, reading papers to trace derivations, identifying open problems, and developing the physical intuition to connect formalisms with real phenomena, the kind that keeps you up at night.
The Knowmads Podcast is back with season 2 and our first episode is with Rene Bellwied on winning the breakthrough prize in fundamental physics. #breakthroghprize #fundamentalphysics #Theknowmadspodcast

Proud of my students who presented their work at the @apsphysics.bsky.social Global Physics summit this week! They all did a great job, and enjoyed their experience too!
Went for Puppy Yoga yesterday, 10/10 would recommend. For those who don’t know the concept, there’s a puppy who teaches yoga. Idk who taught him yoga but he apparently just kept doing the ‘downward facing dog’ 🤷♀️
Meat ‘Ball’ and a coffee mug!
My advisor @claudiaratti.bsky.social brought koalaches and donuts to our group meeting to celebrate my win and the @uh.edu Research Day. 🥹🫶🏼
Presented my work on Quantum Chromodynamics equation of state from Holographic and Hadronic Physics for the @uh.edu Research Day 2025 and received the second prize for the best presentation!
I spent the afternoon at work today, to attend the Physics Department research day. Lots of great talks and posters, here are the winners in the different categories. Among them, my students @prachigarella.bsky.social and Gabe Frohaug. Congratulations!
