There is just no metric (stylistically/aesthetically/mathematically/vibes) by which the same group of 10-20 mostly-white-guys, or the next crop of the same behind them, are the best/all that the comics medium has to offer.
But the big 2 keep pushing them on us, giving them the highest profile work
