getting competitive about being the smartest medical resident in front of a patient is insane. doing a betting pool is crazy. making medical staff responsible for patient & family's coping needs is wild

that said i didn't work in a big city hospital, and our chaplains were more integrated than most

makes me feel crazy that the pitt is so realistic about everything except for literally the stuff i directly know about and work in
