I have no real reason to have them other than I got bored during a bout of insomnia and did the MVAC test online and passed. Figure why not do the HVAC test and it was legit hard, required 40 hrs of training and was a proctored test. Took about a week of studying
I just got them so I could fix my own stuff. After getting a couple thousand dollar quote I spent the money on tools and then fixed all of my vehicles for about what I was quoted to fix one by a shop
That's why I have it. I got tired of having to pay big money for small fixes like a bad o-ring on my old vehicles
It's definitely something I've wanted to do for a long time
