Unpopular opinion but I think #Industry S1 was the best!
I liked the show more when the stage was small and focused around the core characters just figuring out relationships, their first jobs after college; finding their place in the world. In later seasons, they abandoned subtlety for spectacle 🙂↔️

It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.
He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.
People are asking why Trump landed US in an illegal war with Iran.
The answer is that his approval ratings are low.
That's it.
A war allows him to create a shared enemy (which boosts in-group solidarity), a distraction from his domestic disasters, and a pretense for declaring emergency powers.
It doesn't need to be slipped in. Already women experiencing miscarriages are being put in handcuffs, cos a miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion.
I agree with the general sentiment that the US healthcare system is deeply flawed but I think we should be careful making him some kind of case study for it cos his story seems to be complicated. In fact, we don't need a millionaire to be the face of this problem when most of us know first hand.

Incredible opinion. It holds that the common ICE tactic of jumping out of an unidentified rental vehicle and seizing suspected noncitizens while masked violates the Fourth Amendment because the *manner* of the seizure is incompatible with a free society governed by the rule of law.

Amazon made a choice to partner with Flock and feed data to ICE.

Seems like a short sighted investment decision given that we will (hopefully) reverse this dogmatic admin in the next 1-3 years? Also, if these cures are available and approved in the EU and elsewhere, isn't there a good chance the public pressure will mount towards approving them in the US too?
