These scientists are not stupid and neither is it scare tactics, just the truth. Some other scientists say/write what sounds good for their employers. Ergo, it is not in their interest to tell the truth. Now, which would you prefer?
Climate activists should tread carefully when it comes to AI, since it uses up A LOT of natural resources and is mostly owned by not exactly climate friendly agents.
