I have a new enemy and that is the Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel chain.
These are quite the opposite, actually. They drive really conservatively and following the law. I think you'll enjoy riding in them.

I made this an inning ago, so now you have to see it too.
The government may reopen before this game is over.
Tomorrow's World Series Game 4 starting pitcher has been on base 8 times tonight.

It would be glorious. 7 pitch clock violations in a single inning. And he would come out for the second.
Pedro BΓ‘ez just started warming for the Blue Jays.
"Esteban, do you ever miss working for a team?"
Yes. In October. There's no place like the ballpark come playoff time.

He gave up a 1B, SB β this was when he couldn't pickoff people, and the A's gave up 7 SB that game β groundout, 1B, SB, BB, before finally departing with 111 pitches. Both runners scored, and the A's eventually lost the game in extra innings, 9-8.
Random baseball thought of the day: In 2014, and after finally pushing their chips for the playoffs, the Oakland Athletics let Jon Lester face the Royals top of the lineup for a 4th time on 95 pitches with a 7-3 lead and in the 8th inning of the win-or-go-home Wild Card Game, with no one warming up.

1999 Chipper Jones
1996-98, β93 Barry Bonds
