So without beating around the bush: I'm going to quit most socials (leaving only discord and tumblr because I barely post there but get better engagement) for a week and if I won't have any negative results, I'll likely will go away entirely

I been thinking about it for weeks now but I gotta do smth about my issues and it involves gen disconnecting from social media. Ik I said I will take a break and then kinda didn't. It's hard with ADHD. It always more to do it when someone you know does it too

Me too tbh. I hate old style books cuz not only was the text really tiny bit it's often very pressed (aka the space between letters and rows themselves is bare min) so I often just lose interest and drop it lol

And when I was a beginner I was like "pfft marionette?? How is that gonna help if it only shows shapes and not like how details go over the body such as muscles and facial anatomy" and that was my mistake. As other artist said "make it as it is, then clean the mistakes/imperfections"

Ik my advice probs won't help but when I started learning humanoid anatomy (~1-2 yrs ago, I always drawn animals and furries) the thing that personally helped was stopping to immediately jump into details. To think of body as of marionette!
