Yes, very early bloom this year and I think it's still pretty thick. My first trip out there was Dec 5th (full moonset) and it was already beautiful. There was additionally a large bloom in October of cinch weed. Just a great year thus far for wildflowers given all the summer and fall rain.
Go now! They are blooming very early due to all the heavy rain this summer and fall. Some flowers from the first wave of growth were starting to wilt a little (I was there Dec 20) but there was still a lot of blooming/color and lots of sprouts. Recent rain should help. Very beautiful out there!
