Baseball is back!!!!
I was on a hike two weeks ago and the watch was like hey! Looks like you're on a power walk! Want me to track it? So it timed me for over an hour and later was like you've only exercised 12 minutes today. 😡
Every day my watch is like: You can do it!
And every day I'm in my jammies eating snacks going: LOL DISMISS!
I wish I had the faith in me that my watch does that I can still achieve my exercise goal today.

I legitimately didn't know Jeff Petry was still playing hockey.
Her speech has come.a LONG way the past couple months but we do need to repeat every now and again because she's still working out some sounds.

This morning she came bounding it at early o'clock as she so often does. And she wanted my spot in bed so was very comically saying "wake up dad" and pushing me off the side.
I oblige. She happily got under the covers and I puttered around getting ready. It was then that she mumbled something.
When you're a parent of an autistic kiddo you sometimes resign yourself to the fact that your kid isn't going to say I love you.
They love you. And you know it. But they don't say it. And that's ok. 9YO is a cuddle bug. I know she loves me. Hugs. Kisses. She even typed it on her iPad once.
Playing the Unrivaled final in the 2,000-seat arena in Miami feels quiet and anticlimactic after watching the semis in a sold-out Barclays. This deserves a bigger venue.
