This was my first time working on a comic in B&W and for print, so I kept it simple (mostly bc I wasn't sure of the reading direction since I was the only EN 😅)

4-panels are easy since you can apply the 'kishotenketsu' structure. Example:

Even though, 4 panels are often gag comics, it'll help you understand how to construct a story. Its like, a very simplified Hero's Journey story structure

*whispers* also uh just in case, please make your own version of u-seasons instead of using 🦀-mama's, since 🦀-mama sees them as siblings

If you're still not confident in drawing an entire one-shot (they can take about at least a month to finish), you can just stick to simple short comics

Try to draft for the entire thing so it'll help you see how the storyline will go and look (unfortunately I don't follow this advice bc I plot the story as I draw. Dont be like me)

Though, its much easier to do webcomic like manhwas bc there is no page constraints.

Imma be real tho, you really just have to start drawing www.

I'm self-taught so even I learn as I go. My advice is to read and analyze your comic materials and understand the way they setup the panels, their bubble placements, etc.

Well yeah I can. I did somebody's yumeships before too. I just dont normally draw other ships bc I dont have any strong feelings for ships other than my current ships
