Iranβs people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.

WATCH β @katiecouric.bsky.social : βSome πΊπΈ military commanders have described whatβs happening in Iran as a βHoly Warβ, part of Godβs divine plan, with references to Biblical prophecy, that Trump has been anointed to cause Armageddon and mark Jesusβ return to Earth.β
What do the US Congress, NicolΓ‘s Maduro, the riots in Iran, Jeffrey Epstein, and the destruction of Syria have in common?

Thank you, Sir, for speaking plain truth.
Like clockwork.
I promise you that the cure to feeling totally insane every time you look at the news is to A) be active in your own community. Not just chilling with people, but being genuinely useful to those in need. And B) don't look at the news. This idea of "witnessing" as praxis is bullshit.
Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich donβt create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people β and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.
Remember this.
Could we maybe try having an atheist president? Just once? Pleeeeeeeease π₯Ί

How Corporate Democrats Are Supporting Trump and Israel's War
Four "centrist" Democrats just helped Donald Trump and Republicans continue an illegal war in Iran. When will the Democratic base stand up and reject corporate donors and their complicit Reeks?

Moskowitz: "Let me congratulate the former Homeland Security Secretary on her appointment to be the Shield of Americas, which I'm pretty sure the president came up with when he watched the last Avengers movie"
PAT RYAN: 'Does the US want to be the policeman of the Middle East getting nothing but spending precious lives & trillions.' Rng a bell?
COLBY: Defer to you
R: That was Trump. How about this - 'we simply cannot afford to get enmeshed in a Middle East war'
C: Defer to you
R: That was actually you
Rep. Kamlager-Dove, never apologize for taking down Noem and Lewandowski. Well done
get a load of Kristi Noem's facial expressions as Rep. Kamlager-Dove enters articles in the congressional record with headlines like, "Lewandowski taking out trash at Noem's DC home" and "ICE Barbie's mile high private chamber with alleged lover exposed"
I will never eat octopus again.

Donald Trump made trade threats against Spain during an Oval Office meeting with reporters and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. (ANDREW CABALLERO-REYNOLDS / AFP VIA GETTY IMAGES)
Trump: "Spain said we can't use their bases. We could use their bases if we want. We could just fly in and use it. Nobody is gonna tell us not to use it"
Not receiving consent and moving forward anyway is a consistent theme in his life β as E. Jean Carroll can attest
Tillis to Noem: "A 14 month old dog is basically a teenager in dog years. You decided to kill that dog bc you hadn't invested the appropriate training, then you have the audacity to write a book & say it's a leadership lesson! ... Those are bad decisions not unlike what happened in Minneapolis"
I know that things can feel helpless for us average Americans right now.
So just keep doing the things we CAN do.
