Instead, she has built a career as a wellness influencer and entrepreneur, raising serious questions about potential conflicts of interest through her business ventures. The Surgeon General must serve the public interest without financial entanglements that could compromise medical guidance to millions of Americans. Her alignment with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Make America Healthy Again movement is deeply concerning. This movement has transformed dissatisfaction with mainstream medicine into a disruptive political force that undermines public health infrastructure. During her confirmation hearing before the Senate health committee on Wednesday, Means faced bipartisan scrutiny over Kennedy's changes to vaccine policy, her medical credentials, and her past use of psychedelic mushrooms. These are not trivial concerns for someone who would serve as America's top doctor. This action threatens the integrity of our election system and sets a dangerous precedent for voter intimidation. The FBI removed entire pallets of previously archived and sealed ballot boxes, including absentee ballots, tabulator tapes, and voter rolls from the 2020 General Election. Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington raised critical questions about chain of custody, asking how officials can ensure these materials will be returned intact and unaltered. Commissioner Mo Ivory noted the volume made it nearly impossible to inventory what was taken.
