According to the governor’s spokesperson, no action has been taken re: Peters. His office adds that Polis is not considering a pardon, but commutation remains on the table.
While not the biggest issue of the day, Manic Panic using AI to sell their latest product line and then deleting comments from people disappointed by the choice is the least punk thing of all time. smh
There's a lot to hate about AI heating the earth faster than ever before while guzzling up our remaining water and ruining the lives of humans, plants, and animals unfortunate enough to live near a data center. But what if there was a mindful way to use it?
Pleased to hear "Jirel Meets Death" is a nominee for the Costigan Award for Literary Achievement from the Robert E. Howard Foundation!

I just saw an Almond Mom/MAHA lady recommending feeding honey to infants, so we're not far from this I'm sure.
Yeah, my immediate thought was about the texture/viscosity and wanted to gag. I would bet it's a sparkling version of the stuff they give you to prep for a colonoscopy. NO THANKS
I am a big fiber fan, and I approve of making nutrition accessible...but I refuse to look up what a "fiber soda" is. I just saw "protein water" at CostCo and was completely exhausted by the experience.
What a great answer! I'll definitely be listening to you.
So why are you being an apologist for nazi tattoo-having nazi platformers on here?

Alex Eckman-Lawn is the artist, and Jess Kiley is the cover designer!
Many thanks to my team at Tordtotcom and my friend Jenn Reese of Tiger Bright Studios (who whipped up this graphic for me).
Graphic showing the cover of forthcoming novella And Side by Side They Wander, by Molly Tanzer, and the quote from Publishers Weekly saying it is "a wild and thought-provoking ride." Coming May 19th, 2026
Well well well! Publishers Weekly liked And Side by Side They Wander, calling out the "poignant observations about the significance of original art and art history" and concluding: "This bite-size romp is a wild and thought-provoking ride." Yay!

Last night I was in the mood for some sword and/or sorcery and I finally got around to reading these two stories and they rocked
Thousands of institutions abandoned programs, ended or rewrote scholarships, closed down clubs and publications, all in pre-emptive compliance.
