i am so sorry for the misunderstanding. Just trying to limit people from being scammed and or share their personal information. Animal accounts do this as they follow many people in mass for this reason. hoping to also help people from donating from
Gaza impersonation accounts but it’s not ready

if they wonder why it was marked as spam it was because of the malicious activities listed. As you see, I didn’t send any links or ask for anything that warrants me from having their information. Merely saying that it’s been reported and to verify with Bluesky to have that request removed /2

I understand your concern, but I would like to express this as a simple coding mistake. Testing a code where accounts with suspicious activity (mass following/unwarranted links) send an automatic report to blueskys moderation. I merely send the message to let the user know it’s been reported and /1

Often times they’ll message you asking for income or wanting to be your friend. It’s happened before, and will continue to happen as Bluesky doesn’t have full control over these sorts of problems yet.

Actually, that account has been reported/evidenced as a scam/fraud account as they are the owners of catowners community. Who posts pictures of cats that “died” when really they’re not dead, and use the publicity to sell $70 cat shirts.

Understood! I’ll go ahead and make a list since I love dedicating my time countering pesky bot animal accounts!

It’s easy to tell when an account is blatantly following others for followbacks and does posts that either say to donate for their “dead animals funeral” when a simple Google reverse image search can show me that their lying, it’s happened with my aunt unfortunately…hence the birth of this account

Here’s another account that has cat community in their name that also does this. These accounts specifically do this to get engagement. Red flags are accounts that post stuff like this and also follow people in mass. It even happens with the Corgi Community accounts.
