🚨 BREAKING: Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi says a peace deal is "within our reach." He says Iran has agreed to: 🔸 Zero stockpiling of nuclear material 🔸 Down-blending current stockpiles of enriched material to lowest level possible, a "neutral level," and converted to fuel. And that fuel will be irreversible. 🔸 Claimed that Iran is now open to the idea of allowing American inspectors access to its nuclear sites, a major shift from previous stances. When Brennan noted that Iran had refused American inspectors even under the Obama administration, Al-Busaidi responded that this is a "much, much better deal" because Iran is now "open to the idea in a way that... never had been the case in the past". 🔸 The Minister emphasized that while broad terms could be agreed upon almost immediately, a 3-month period is necessary for the technical work required to make the agreement "watertight." “In 3 months, implementation of agreement can be in place.” Within that 90-day window, Oman’s Foreign Minister stated that negotiators would hammer out technical details regarding the handling of Iran's existing enriched material. They would also finalize the protocols for verification and compliance, and establish the specific details for international (and likely American) inspectors to access Iranian nuclear facilities.
