That concrete façade of The Palasades is still there behind the modern shiny curvy one... they just stuck them on top

He's probably trying to make some toast by himself for the first time ever
I did wonder if Histor was the old Crow puppet from Saturday Superstore, but just looked and they're very different
I assumed the other way round as Sorry! ended in 1988 and EDC in 1989? (although that's not necessarily the order of filming)
Of course the writers of both shows wrote on The Two Ronnies alongside Marshall and Renwick and of course Ronnie would have known them too
Yeah I get that, just curious why both shows did the same thing and whose idea it was to do it.
Although as the episodes were both made in 1988/89 whether the prop ws just lying around and got reused.... pretty sure that's the same sign
Watching an old episode of Sorry! on UKTV and noticed this estate agents board. Then realised I'd seen it before.. ouside the Bryces house in the last episode of Ever Decreasing Circles. Marshall Renwick estate agents, some sort of in joke between comedy writers?
One for @dirtyfeed.org ?
It looks like such a tight thing to do, especially when the manual take on the playout apparently takes a few seconds.
They'd have been better off using the network announcement
The clean feed they get switches to the next source a few seconds before the programme starts. Looks like it switched from the Olympics to the news studio correctly, but with such a short ident and announcement it was very tight and Scotland didn't cut away quick enough
I suppose the problem is that this is Thames Valley Police and Epstein Island isn't just off the M40
My wife saw an advert the other day for curling sessions on a Monday afternoon.
Then she was disappointed that they were for over 50s
Then she realised I'm old enough to go to them soon.
Then she noticed where the advert was.... in the window of Age UK!
"a pint? That's two thirds of an armfull"
Bubble from Big Brother
Looks like an old Codemasters game... Snooker Heaven Dizzy
So don't use the active ingredient?
It's well known that he has a continence problem, and has for years. His adult nappy is visible & there are stories from The Apprentice youtu.be/W5uqAavJPAo
The theory I've seen is that it's to do with his drug taking. However the recent revelations about a tent peg mean that it could well be that
which reminds me of one of my favourite bits of trivia.... Richard Gibson who played Herr Flick sang at Winston Churchills funeral
Always wondered why they called it 'Late Night Late'. An odd name
Consumated?
She wont have learnt that at school, she was more likely a fan of Horrible Histories
Inside the Fat Tory
I uninstalled that yesterday thinking it was Copilot... now disappointed that I didn't find an easy way to uninstall copilot
I bet it's not had much radio play this last week!
There's non-gym going men here doing the school run in shorts. It's minus 1 outside
Seems an odd place to announce it, until you realise it's the station's sister publication
I worked for another International news channel once and their style guide was full of things like not using 'finance minister' instead of 'Chancellor'... it even specified 'The Catholic Pope' as there are other popes
Oh dear! Presumably it has an edit for radio use?
Yes and the intention of the song fits better. I suppose now it's streaming killed the video star
Except for the World Cup qualifying matches they had the rights to all the home team matches except England. They showed Scotland, Wales and NI games in prime time
Oh have I missed something in that song? (not that I actively try and listen to Dire Straits if I can help it)
