I baked a cake yesterday and had to wait overnight to eat it. I had a slice after breakfast. My black tea pastry cream was too watery and the cake absorbed it except for that blob there omg now the cake is too moist. I kind of wish it was drier and fluffier. 😅

I've been craving cake so I made a cake. I haven't baked and decorated a cake for more than two years or so and I underestimated how long it will take. My decorating is rusty too. Now it's hanging out in the fridge and I have to wait until tomorrow to try it out. Tireddddd

For helmet head seedlings, I would wet the seed coat now and then so they'll soften! I've had success with that and the leaves were strong enough to break thru eventually. I also always germinate my seeds in wet paper towels. We have an awful climate so it's better for them to start that way.

Hi there, sorry for the super later reply! I'm sorry about your seedlings! Mine weren't prolific at all, unfortunately. I only got four sad fruits lmao. They were tasty, though. I started new seedlings last November and just transplanted them a while ago. Now just hoping for the best.
