Hehe, pretty sure I won't/wouldn't feel it, having been meeting people for a while, but that's ok with me. It is unfortunate that it is another undesirable element in an overall relatively weak package offering though lol!

It is funny, I wonder if I am the same way. For years I have thought of myself as wanting a "life teammate" with whom to handle life's challenges together, and accepting that the "romantic" part of that would be part of the price of admission, so to speak, rather than a desired outcome. No luck yet.

Always entertaining to us Wisconsin locals to have critters visit from other parts of the country and praise our low beer prices even at the pricier downtown Milwaukee and Madison bars!

Fair, such things are very complicated. What personality traits do you associate with that behavior? Also, in terms of them being a small wedge of your friends, I wonder if "academically inclined" might be a bigger wedge, some of us avoided academic careers due to external factors, not personality.

Do you think that maybe a disproportionate number of academically-inclined furs tend toward cuddly/affectionate preferences and desire to please in relationships? 95% seems like a lot.

This will not change as long as half or more of the population actually benefits from it (the half that would get low grades/flunk tests obviously benefits by having the whole grading system collapse).

An important takeaway that every student should ponder: you may receive an A, but at this point, you will never know if you actually earned it or if your instructor simply feared for their job and/or their safety. Every single one of your academic accomplishments is potentially meaningless.
