I am so glad I tuned in to the half-time show.
Great interview to catch up on what's what, stay informed.

This is the time of year I wish people had their decorative lights up.

Now that the White House is using AI to edit photos of their political opponents to create fascist propaganda Iβm wondering if anyone could have seen this use of AI coming. Okay Iβm hearing lots of people did and they were forced to watch corporations smother the masses with the technology anyways
I, personally, haven't seen much chatter about this, but I finally upgraded to the IMO instantly dated Liquid Glass.

I just saw a "lyrics proofreading" credit on an album press release and it made my day.
If you need a distraction, I contributed to this AllMusic list, which is surprisingly sweet and funny (and unsurprisingly informative) at times. www.allmusic.com/blog/post/la...
This is just under an hour long and packed with stuff everyone should be aware of (re: "the files," authoritarianism, what's actually going on and why people are acting the way they're acting, things to be on the look-out for...)
It's not like we were born with an innate understanding of N95 masks and airborne transmission. Many of us put in the intellectual effort to understand it, starting in 2020. You don't need a medical degree to understand this stuff. It has been explained, and explained, and explained.
Wow, is this a current mood. (Thereβs a nice little summary of how the hell DJT made it into college, if youβve ever wondered.) Sorry for the preview photo. www.marytrump.org/p/the-pettin...
New interview! On all the things going wrong and how we got here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYWn...
Another great interview with Sarah Kendzior. I've been begging folks for years to understand that the (establishment) Dems are in on it--this interview packs in a lot of info quickly, including a sense of how that's played out. We HAVE TO understand what we're really up against.
I'd say this is all deeply unserious except for the potential to be a record-breaking event and be met with force in some places.
OK, I'm officially in favor of anything over nothing, but I was already annoyed at being excluded from No Kings, AN ANTI-AUTHORITARIAN PROTEST, due to ableist/ageist/racist/transphobic lack of masking; now I learn it starts at 9:30 here. Why? Michigan football game @ noon. πππ

Someone said "Star of David banner" and I heard it as "star of David Banner" until a good 30 seconds later. (And, no, I wasn't thinking of the rapper.)

Nobody has Long COVID, but everybody has brain fog, cognitive decline and memory loss. I talk about the overwhelming scientific evidence that COVID damages the brain, and the overwhelming social unwillingness to acknowledge it in my latest:

TIL about water clocks. How had I never heard or thought of these before?
It would take around 1.1 million acres of solar panels to (clean) power the world. That's less than a quarter of the number of acres devoted globally to golf courses. You can see where this is going, right...?
