I love getting into a knitting groove and then dripping a stitch and not noticing till 30 min later and fucking up the pickup so badly I have to rip out 5 rounds of 300 stitches each to get back to a point where I can restart

What did I do today?
1. My job, which now that I work from home leaves me so much extra time that I was able to
2. Soak and block my new sweater (photos on 🧶sky when it’s done)
3. Watch my cat enjoy the sunshine
4. Make soup for dinner (and feed the dogs the leavings 🤣🤣)

I have like 20 of the svaha dresses and tell people my style is Ms. Frizzle (but not as hot)

- cleaned the bathroom
- made a fantastic beef stew
- knitted a whole bunch on my current project
- built a cat bed shelf thing they *adore*

Today’s not-so-wins:
- spent too much time reading terrible shit online
- did not clean my office

I will endeavor to fix those tomorrow.

I do that all the time! I used to knit in lectures during nursing school and now I knit while reading or watching tv. To be fair, I’m not doing complicated lace or colorwork; those I have to really concentrate on.

You probably could do it with enough practice, it’s not that bad!

I knit my sister a shawl to wear under her chuppah as her dress was sleeveless; it was big enough that it could have been a chuppah itself lol

This gives me the sad hahas Seth. Like Ralphie but sad. I think we’re going to miss out on a lot of important vaccines and other learning and innovation the next 4 years.

Personally I prefer my bisexuals barbecued and my pansexuals parboiled but it’s an individual taste

I set up my work week so that I work a full day Monday (get it out of the way) short day Tuesday and OFF on hump day! Then 2 more full days so I don’t have to work weekends. Never more than 2 days in a row and a golden weekend *every* weekend is amazing for medicine
