There’s an endless list of television shows that were cancelled before completing their story, but it’s unforgivable that Our Flag Means Death is one of them. The HBO Max original pirate comedy starring Rhys Darby and Taika Waititi may have been doomed to arrive at Davy Jones’ Locker before it was ready to go, but that hasn’t stopped the series from amassing a loyal cult following.
