Anyway, do forgive intensity
I am disengaging from thread because I am not in a place to do arguing online now
I know people mean well even as we disagree

If you want me to be honest, yes it was improper how the Philadelphia 11 were ordained (I say as a staunch proponent of women’s ordination)
So that isn’t a great argument for me
We’d have had it anyway without that
It is is the thing
It is that straightforward
This is why inclusive orthodoxy is something I shall fight tooth and nail for.
Why I care so much about renewal and revival in the Mainline.
I’ve encountered so many young queer Christians so abandoned. It honestly breaks my heart.
It also gives me so much strength to know what a yearning there is for Christ amongst those cast away, or given only that which is empty or outright misleading.
It is failing queer Christians that empty and tepidly theologically liberal heterodoxy and even apostasy is often all that’s offered to us.
When why we need, just like everyone else, is the Good News of JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour. We need He who died for us. ⚓️
My first post on here on this account: I'm going to start by showing off some space art I've made with the Godot engine.
I may do more with this, I don't know. But Godot can definitely produce nice graphics.

I’ll be intermittently posting things I’ve made there, on the computer or otherwise.
It is remarkable to witness the machine underlying Trump scramble to post hoc substantiate and justify all of his insane whims.
Trump is a tremendous idiot, we know this. But what fascinates me so is the sycophantic machine whereby whatever braindead proclamation he makes is justified retroactively.
So many people are paid essentially to paint a picture where the American President is anything but a fool and a lunatic.
The dominance of a new, far right strain of postmodernism is a thesis I blather about to a lot of people but I think people are finally starting to see it, even if they don't phrase it in quite the same way.

The RCL is so silly.
Accepting the Creeds isn’t enough to be a basically orthodox Christian
And so it’s cringe when (especially Episcopalians) will laud themselves as “inclusively orthodox” for doing the bare minimum whilst often holding to heresies like Process Theology or whilst saving a very low view of Scripture.⚓️
Julian of Norwich is often appropriated by the purveyors of new age woo, but she was very much steadfastly orthodox and beautifully so, and is even particularly Augustinian in her framings, and monergistic. And incredibly brilliant in her beautiful theological articulations.
I am diving into the Catholic doctrines of classical theism and the Attributes of God (with E.L. Mascall and Aquinas instructing me, chiefly) in order to answer the sadly much too common heresies of Process Theology and Open Theism.
Mascall's He Who Is, A Study in Traditional Theism is excellent.
What if everyone on your Christmas list really, really wants to start using Morning and Evening Prayer in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition?
The 1662 Book of Common Prayer: International Edition is a great entry to the daily offices, and it's 45% off at Amazon.
I’ve had a very frightening experience and am very shaken up and am finding it difficult to sleep
I would appreciate prayers for my peace of mind
I am alright and am safe
Just anxiety from after the fact
I am sorry for my behaviour last night — I lost my temper and behaved in an unchristian manner. Saying publicly, so people may know.
A lot of present-day Roman Catholic practice is so counterintuitively “Low Church” to my mind.
Not having altar rails and normatively receiving standing being chief among them.
Alright yall so because my landlord is selling this house we rent and I have been scraping by I need help to afford moving.
I'm raising $1500 to rent a uhaul, pay deposit, and other moving costs. We need to be out by end of December.

I feel that ultimately people will always see me as the dumb fundamentalist in TEC.
He is extremely uncharitable in his portrayal of his theological opponents (me, often).
I dislike Rillera’s perspectives very much on twitter and the like, so I could guess easily enough what he says.

And the Scriptures themselves is what I’m working on.
It is insane to me that God would fulfill his own perfect Justice *himself*, *on our account*.
That this is called evil baffles me.
It also is not an invention of Calvin’s, despite this being oft-said. It is readable in various Fathers of the Church, and was a notion common enough in the Roman Church before the Counter Reformation.
I don’t say “penal” usually because it implies things I don’t believe about the nature of God and what was being done. But there can be no doubt, Jesus died in our place because he loves us.
It’s one of those things where people tell me it’s monstrous and wicked, but to me it is tenderness and love.
Substitutionary atonement is just… in the Bible in an inescapable way, and this model sees something objective happening on the cross.
Which then enables Christus Victor.
