I'm sorry for the employees but I've no time for the organisation. I hate how they have a monopoly on large events like Celtic Connections, RHS Show etc. There is no choice at the bars any more and it is all over priced.
I think I'd fare all right with language side of things too but knowledge of "UK life and culture etc" might not be as straight forward. Everybody has different views and outlooks. Also, our historical knowledge varies too depending on what we have considered relevant over the yeras.
Both us would probably fail them too unless we "schooled ourselves" beforehand.
I hate to say this but I find that these "self made" entrepreneurs and capitalists are uusally the worst.

We are left with either bland supermaket products or over priced so called "artisan" bread. Many smaller companies are sadly going the same way as Greggs and just focusing on take aways etc.
They could go back to selling loaves of bread etc again. Not everyone wants take aways. Good traditional bakers are now few and far between.
Also, why don't they report their observations to The presiding Officer who could take the necessary action?
As if that many Muslims would have been voting Reform in the first place.

Well, voting either for The Greens or Labour to stop Reform wouldn't have made any difference as Farage's party just didn't have enough support. Even if the Anti Reform vote had been split 50:50. We didn't know that though.

In Peebles. Usually a peaceful town! While this is a terrible incident, I can't help but think if there were officers on patrol they might have seen it for themselves or it the culprit(s) may have been deterred.
A helluva lot of people don't seem to want them. They are nowhere near enough to get a majority and all decent parties will rally against them. Hopefully.

Well, the focus still doesn't appear to be on the human victims. The authorities seem to be more concerned about financial matters and "wheeling and dealing" .
What about all the misconduct outside "the office"? Why just focus on his financial and diplomatic inappropriateness?
I'm one of these so called "privileged" older people but I believe University and other Higher education courses should be free for the student especially when necessary for specific occupations and careers. Grants should also be provided if needed too.
Both were leadership candidates too, as I recall.
