Great to see Gene at the Barras again last night after all these years. With the added bonus of Mick Talbot on keys. So many great songs but Speak To Me Someone and Olympian were highlights. Steve Mason one of the best guitarists from that era

I hope this wonderful album doesn't get over-looked.
Mary released only one album, but it was a classic - kept waiting for the follow up year after year, but it never materialised.

Aye, think that was down to game state in both of those games as we were chasing goals. With fewer subs named in domestic games you are always going to have at least 1 full back a keeper and a centre back the other striker sub them becomes TC or Adamu
Sutton the latest to find it weird that Iheanacho featured in both Stuttgart games but not in others. The bench in European games is basically everyone else. You have to name subs for domestic games. Genuinely don’t know why this is so difficult to understand

The Cobbler played very well on his first start although he had a few shaky moments.

Hatate and Tounekti made a difference when they came on. AOC nowhere near ready for games ike this. Maeda up front isn’t perfect but it means they defend deeper and it opens up the midfield a bit.

Excellent second half. Night and day compared to the first half. If we’d got the equaliser earlier there was only going to be one winner.
Would sub Maeda, Adamu and Murray off at half time. And rest would be lucky to stay on.

A win on the night, a small boost for our coefficient and lots of rangers fans lost money betting on Stuttgart to win by a few.

Brilliant start and a lovely goal. Rode our luck with the high line at times but overall a decent performance and a lot, lot better than expected. Donovan getting a bit of a chasing though and the yellow may see him subbed at half time
as much as taking a 0-3 might be a good idea even we aren’t that silly
Biggest hope for tonight is that Sinisalo shows up well and gives the management a decision to make going forward but while I thought he looked good last season (and Schmeichel is done) he has been shaky in his occasional appearances this term.
No issues with the selection other than, like with the Auchinleck game, we change the entire team but leave Calmac in. Totally pointless and a rest would help him. Could maybe understand it if he was in there to talk a couple of youngsters through the match but that’s not the case.

That’s the team I’d have picked apart from the goalkeeper. It’s clear now that MON just doesn’t trust or rate Sinisalo and to be fair BR and WN didn’t appear to either when Schmeichel was struggling. We have an incredibly tough run of fixtures coming up and I fear sticking by Schmeichel will cost us
Seems like a future captain for them
