And to also add on, Husk essentially disobeys Alastor (maybe something on not involving with Val/the Vees for again his own reasons) and when they get back to the hotel and it seems happy with Angel back and everyone reunited, he gets a one on one talk with an angered Alastor…
And, there is and underlying implication of him having low self worth/possible “self sacrificing” tendencies
#huskerdust night thought: S3 ends similar to S2 but it’s Husk leaving Angel as he’s force to follow Alastor (who’s doing his villain arc) and is at a low point and thinks that now Angel is free/or at least separated from Val now, he’s done what was needed and can be “forgotten”
This aspect of indie animation always stood out to me now as I feel when we start with the idea of “making a cartoon”, the process of gaining funds/production aspect we don’t consider and as someone who’s attempted to make a pilot, I can somewhat say it’s exhausting to juggle and manage.

Random thought: For season 3 when Angel interacts with his family, I hope/want his voice to have a way more thicker accent than we’ve ever heard him at this point.

Like we expected Husk to lead/top (and honestly as he should) but as he and Angel slowly feel more comfortable, they get to play and switch around and ending with Angel leading and fully accepting this moment with Husk.
I got a few comments on why I made Angel the one “leading” in the animation especially with the whole “power bottom” thing and in my mind, I kinda had it to where he would slowly get to that point rather than him leading from the start. First it was Husk then it slowly transitions to Angel.
I won’t lie, I imagine the scene from Helluva where Millie saves Moxie from Crimson…but instead Angel saving Husk from his dad and/or brother🫣
Random thought of the night: I’m a believer of Husk finding Angel being dominant/embracing his more mafia intimidation very attractive/hot but is embarrassed to admit it
