"Compared to the U.S., Japan publishes nearly 40% more books per capita. Japan also has more publishing companies than the U.S. despite having well under half the U.S.’s population."

Square graphic with beige background. Top third features copy: Line 1 in "hand-drawn" desert orange font reads, "Curious about AI in T&I?"; line 2 in futuristic black block font reads "VOLUNTEER"; line 3 in same font as line 1 reads: "Join NOTIS's new AI Committee!" Bottom half features four raised hands of different colors; 1, 2, and 4 look human, if hand-drawn, whereas 3 is clearly robotic. The NOTIS logo (square, stacked version with mountain and pine tree in dark blue and green) adorns the bottom right corner.

My Five Do’s and Don’ts of Game Translation - J-En Translations I came up with my five do’s and don’ts for game translation in a recent discussion with other translators, editors and project managers.

Had a fun exercise at a recent translator meetup, "what are your do's and don'ts of translation?" I decided to focus on game translation and share them here.
