10. I was able to successfully find a color scheme that was 'brightly colored autumn' as requested. 🏋️ got to 10! Haha thanks for the encouragement!

7. The multiple washes on the mushroom resulted in a fairly vibrant and even tone gradient 8. Adding the darker underside of the grass and mushroom helped with depth 9. The dark brown behind and below the mushroom help with value in the composition

5. Overall im pleased with how the variegated wash looks in the background 6. The color splashes work well with the fairy and on the bottom left in the white spaces

3. I like the use of white space in the composition, especially to denote sun-saturated areas 4. I like that i was able to stick with bigger shapes in the composition instead of getting caught up in detail too soon and messing with the readability from father away

Haha! Well, 1. I used a 16 round brush for most of the sky and i like the effect of the bigger brush strokes. 2. Pulling the blue of the sky into the rest of the painting like the mushroom shadows and bottom-most grass helped incorporate the broad color palette

When i was finished i could only obssess about the parts i wasn't happy about. So i made myself list out the things i thought went well or would do similarly next time and it was mentally extremely challenging. Bit of a wake up call imo. #watercolor #watercolour #aquarelle #aquarel #aquarela #art
