I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.
All they have are lame, superficial comments and insults b/c that’s the level they’re at. These unserious schmucks remind me of school bullies in a cafeteria standing around the exchange student, trying to intimidate him to assert their (pathetic) dominance. But we all see who’s actually cool.

I’m proudly what would be called a “far leftist” and I’ve been waiting about 10 years for ‘far left’ figures like Bernie and AOC to get more respect from the entire Dem party. Because for too long, Dems played to moderates and it got us nowhere, fast. Time for bold action, and passion! 💙
Through comments, I learned about other big myths Americans believe about foreign aid:
1/ it's risen past 1% in recent years, esp. due to Ukraine - false, max is about 0.5% in 2022 $80B
2/ it's used mostly *not* for humanitarian aid - nope
3/ It's mainly about military objectives - nope
I know. I refrained from going off on him b/c of the setting and the way he said it like a grandpa…but it really did bother me. No way a man should ever use those words. Not with a woman. And not NOW. Ugh.

1) The Air Force rejects the anti-DEI edict and will still teach about Tuskegee Airmen
2) Some FL Republicans are fighting sycophant DeSantis’ immigration plans
3) Another J6-er rejects the pardon

Tonight a well-meaning older, Democrat guy I know through theatre told me that he understands I’m upset over everything going on in this country right now, but I “really need to try to calm down.”
